About SongZone
Welcome to SongZone, an age-specific resource for Songs, Nativities and Assembly packages for children aged between 5-11.
The songs are topic based or seasonal, offering easily singable fun songs for younger children or more challenging choir-based songs with optional part singing for older ones.
We will continually add and refresh the material to suit curriculum and seasonal demands.

Sue has enjoyed a long-standing association with Prince’s Mead School in Winchester, starting her career there as a brass teacher, and in more recent years as the Head of Music where she has developed a passion for encouraging children to sing.
Early on in her teaching journey, she became interested in writing children’s songs and has created SongZone where she can share with other teachers looking for age appropriate materials.
A product of Trinity College of Music, Sue formerly worked as a freelance trumpeter, both in the UK and on the continent. Her work has ranged from playing in repertory in Chichester Festival Theatre, Pimlico Opera, Southern Pro Musica and The Wessex Brass Quintet.
